Type of book: Fiction - Chick Lit
Describe this book in one word: Fun
Comments:
I really like Sophie Kinsella. She is the writer of the well known Shopaholic books, which are good, but I find her standalone books better. Twenties Girl is her newest installment and it didn't disappoint. Lara attends the funeral of her 105 year old great-Aunt Sadie that she never knew. She finds that she is then haunted by the ghost of Sadie's youth, a 1920's flapper. The ensuing story and their interaction together is super funny but also heartwarming. It is a good reminder that everyone has a story, and it will make you look at an older person and want to have a cup of tea and chat about their life.
